Selbig began her life without the influence of either parent and was under the care of her grandmother for her first five years. At that point, her mother took her to live with her stepfather and stepsiblings in a home where Selbig suffered emotional, physical and sexual abuse. As an adult, Selbig’s greatest desire was to know her birth father, a dream that never came true. Into that void stepped her Heavenly Father and walked her through His miraculous healing from her troubled past.
“God will and can heal all the abuses you have faced and, you can find freedom and healing,” said Selbig.
Carol E. Selbig holds two certificates from the American Association of Christian Counselors and worked as a church counselor. She also had a real estate broker’s license and served as Coordinator of Support Services for the elderly in her town for 12 years. Selbig now enjoys working in her garden, teaching Bible studies and spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchild.
