Kainwo drew inspiration from liberation struggles and civil rights activism in order to write this collection of poetry. From Simón Bolívar to Mahatma Gandhi to Martin Luther King, Jr., he immortalizes the actions of these great thinkers in verse so they can continue to inspire.
“I have used poetry to publish the images of freedom fighters who are great in their own rights,” said Kainwo.
Moses Kainwo is a Methodist minister from Sierra Leone. He has served as Deputy Registrar for the University of Sierra Leone, and as a lecturer at the Sierra Leone Theological College. Kainwo has two adult daughters and is the author of Ayo Ayo Ayo and other Love Songs.
