Baker uses her artistic talents to illustrate modern activities and connect them with pieces of Scripture, which is as relevant today as it was when it was written over 2,000 years ago.
Theresa began her painting journey to heal her heart after her son passed.
“My friends and family asked me to share my daily paintings in a book because they bring joy, inspiration and capture your heart with deep emotion. This has been a healing process for me to paint and put this book together,” said Baker. She hopes her illustrated journey will be a healing balm to her readers, as well.
Theresa Baker was born and raised on the beautiful island of Kodiak, Alaska in the Pacific Ocean. She now lives with her husband, Craig, on Alaska’s majestic Kenai Peninsula. She has a master’s degree in teaching, and a passion for anything artsy. Baker also serves her local congregation as a prayer leader, counselor, singer and children’s church teacher.
