Sloan witnessed his son spend his life enslaved to drug, tobacco and alcohol addiction. Finally, after watching countless battles and years of difficulty and pain, he had to bury his son. This horrible experience showed Sloan the reality of demons’ work in human lives and the unthinkable consequences they can cause.
“The Holy Spirit prompted me to write this book after the death of my son at age 46 due to drug addiction,” said Sloan.
Chip Sloan is an educator from Greer, South Carolina, having served as a physical education and physical science teacher, assistant principal and principal. He also coached wrestling, football, track and field and soccer at the high school level. Sloan earned his BS in Physical Education from Mars Hill and an MAT from Converse College.
