Author Alex Hafner offers his extensive personal studies of God’s Word in A Bible Reference for the Man-in-the-Street: A Very Informal Bible Commentary for Everyman ($56.49, paperback, 9781662850257; $9.99, e-book, 9781662850264).
Hafner has been saving his Bible study notes for the past 50 years, detailing his thoughts as he studied each book, chapter, and often each individual verse. He assembled them into this volume in the hopes that they will highlight God’s redemptive plan for mankind for any reader.
The book is for “everyone who wants to know more about the Bible without tomes of deep theological concepts,” said Hafner.
Alex Hafner is an Alabama native who graduated from Sidney Lanier High School and was educated in engineering, physics, and mathematics at The University of Alabama and University of Alabama Huntsville. Since his retirement, he and his wife have traveled all over North America in their motor home.
