He admits that his failure of not one but two marriages, were a result of not knowing how marriage was supposed to work. Being blessed with a third time at marriage, Heddinger turned to Scripture and happily, he and his third wife have been married for twenty-seven years and counting. This book shares what the author has learned about love and marriage from the Bible. It’s the remarkable story of turning marriage failure into marital joy by doing marriage God’s way.
When asked what inspired him to write this book, the author said, “Failure. My failed marriages and the failed marriages I see all around me.”
Frederick Heddinger was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he was raised as an only child in a culturally Christian extended family. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife, Janet. At the age of fifty-one, Jesus of Nazareth came into Heddinger’s life, freeing him from the chains of sin and the fear of death. He is now proud to share what he has learned along the narrow path from Jesus. For more than fifteen years, Heddinger has led a weekly men's Bible study. He is also a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
