Day acknowledges that all Christians go through a variety of seasons in life, often wondering where life is taking them, and where God is in it all. She likens this to how in Ecclesiastes, Solomon wrote about the “seasons of life” that come and go. When a challenging season came into Day’s life and left her with more questions than answers, she explains how God revealed Himself to her in such a way that launched her into the quest to helping others on the same path. In her book, Day explores each season, using her real life experiences to focus on the struggles, conflicts, emotions and circumstances that all of God’s children navigate through. As the author transparently shares her relatable experiences, readers may see a parallel to their own lives, and have an "aha" moment all their own.
When asked what inspired the author to write her book, Day said, “My own personal experiences and my quest for a deeper relationship with God. The book is mostly about personal events that I experienced. Some are big and impacted my life in a major way, some were everyday happenings that seem unimportant, but prove that God is at work even when we are totally unaware of His involvement.”
Linda S. Day is a mother and grandmother who grew up as a preacher’s kid in a small church in Southern Ohio. She has been actively involved in music and the music ministry of the church since the age of 8 and has taught piano since the age of eighteen. Day has a teacher’s heart, both in the area of music as well as teaching the Bible. She enjoys creating, especially working with her hands designing and planting a flower garden, and scrapbooking.
