When asked what inspired the author to write this book, Buenger said, “My hunger to know Truth and to experience all that God has provided.”
When Thomas Buenger was born, he was given up to the sisters of Mercy at Good Samaritan Hospital. He now refers to this time as his very own, “Samuel Sign.” Experiences during his early years were the start of his quest for identity and purpose. Upon giving his life to the Lord after military service in the 70s, he confirmed his calling, leading him on a path of pastoring churches and ministering on public television and radio. During this time, Buenger grew very close to multiple ministers (who have now passed on to be with the Lord.) One minister in particular, was the great grandson of one of the pastors of the Isuzu Street Revival. Buenger’s hunger for truth, reality and relationship can be found within the pages of this book and even now continues to lead him on. Buenger, a Vietnam veteran, loves spending time with his wife and riding motorcycles.
