Hernandez speaks from personal experience when she shares the emotional, practical, financial and spiritual hardships following a divorce. However, she also experienced firsthand the faithfulness of God as he remained by her side, even when she felt unlovable and when she believed all the lies that Satan through at her. Over time, she was able to once more trust in her position as a dear child of God.
“As a divorcee, I realized the many divorcees and their struggles in the Church,” said Hernandez.
Esther Hernandez is a divorced mother of five, as well as a grandmother and an active member in her church who dedicates her life to serving others. She is a small group facilitator, leading praise and worship and collaborating in designing women’s group functions, as well as assisting in various functions in children’s church at her local assembly.
