Hernandez knows the effects of divorce on a family. Like so many others, her struggles as a divorcee didn't stop at being hurt emotionally. Her children needed care and healing. Hernandez was struggling physically, emotionally and financially and although remaining spiritually faithful, her overbearing responsibilities clouded her vision of God. Even when Hernandez thought God couldn't or wouldn't love her anymore, she shares her story about how He remained faithful to her. This book is written for anyone in the same or similar situations as Hernandez; her desire to help them remain strong in their faith. According to the author, the leader's guide is a by-product of Divorced and in the Church. Suggestions are given to the leader or facilitator for leading a small group. Additional information is also provided for increased dialect and confirmations of God's love and care.

Esther Hernandez was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She currently resides in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She is the proud mother of five children and fifteen grandchildren. She is an active church member, guided by faith and serving others. In addition to spending time with family and friends, she also loves music, singing drawing, crafting and writing.
